RULE: DIGIT reduction of 1 UNIT AND THE RISE OF TENS DIGIT 1

For two figures:

EXAMPLE 1: 87

+9

Tens unit = 7 = 8 digits

Therefore, 7-1 = 6, therefore, 8 + 1 = 9

The answer is 96

EXAMPLE 2: 77

Tens unit = 7 = 7 digits

Therefore, 7-1 = 6 Therefore, 7 + 1 = 8

The 86 answer is

EXAMPLE 1: 799

Unit = 9 = tens digit Hundreds digit 9 = 7

Therefore, 9-1 = 8 Therefore, 9 + 1 = 0 So, 7 + carry 1 = 8

Therefore, 1-1 = 0 So, 4 + 1 = 5

CONSIDER THE NEW MAINTENANCE 8 DIGIT 0 8 UNITS AND PLACE AS.

Unit tens digit = 0 = 8 digits

Therefore, 0 – 1 = (1) 0-1 = 9 Therefore, 8 + 1 = 9

9-1 = 8

The answer therefore, 898

Unit tens digit = 0 = 7 digits

Therefore, 0 – 1 = (1) 0-1 = 9 Therefore, 7 + 1 = 8

8-1 = 7

The answer, therefore, 791

To four digits: add 9 or 99 or 999.
