What are the differences between Green Wing Macaw and Blue & Gold Macaw?

I am trying to decide between one of two, like an animal companion for my boyfriend and I are most likely to have a cat and a dog in the lives of birds and children. I like the affection of these two provisions, and the bright colors of blue and gold. I want to learn to talk and spend much time training, but not a priority, the priority is to have a loving companion for most of the rest of our lives. My plan is to spend at least 3 hours per day with the bird to play and train. I am very fond of originality and intelligence (I adopted a border collie, because they would be the most intelligent dogs and had a very successful training with him). Thus, I would like to answer some of the trends both macaws, and we prefer the right. Thank you!

I agree with almost everything said in the post above me, but some things to add. I also went through this debate, almost identical 2 months ago. Actually intend to buy a blue and gold when I met Katie, Greenwing our baby. Katie personality is so funny, so stupid and he just showed extraordinary intelligence beginning. It is now almost 4 months and is saying 10 different things. She's fine. But as we all, parents are waiting for our babies to be fully weaned so that we can take home, I watch other parents know their birds macaws youth. There are 2 other children who are blue and gold. What I saw is that they seem to have an attitude a little more Green-winged Teal. For some it well. For me it would be nice with me. I have a military macaw named Rio, who is very stubborn, live your life in some way and it is very cool. All that Greenwings I have known have been very relaxed, very sweet and very intelligent. There was one exception to this rule and Greenwing knew was when I met Rio, my military. She was angry against the world and wanted nothing to do with humans, except to bite as hard as I could. In all my experiences in training (more than 300 birds), which is the only one who was unable to do anything with, but I must say it was both my mindblock like yours that made me feel that way, a future.
