7 Steps to Personal Power development

The most successful people are those who know who they are. They know that each of us is composed of three same. Each of us is first and foremost all, we believe that the person he is – our self-concept, on the other hand, who want others to think we are – our skin, and thirdly, a person other than we are – our self-perception. There are three very different people. Those who do know that working hard and putting three very closely. When the three are very closely aligned, a huge amount of personal power is generated. To the extent that the same three are very distant, are not potential energy – is lost – In sales, relationships, career. How can we be clear in our relations with others if we do not have clarity on what they are? Remember the movie "Dirty Harry?" When the character of Clint Eastwood, Harry, someone described as a "legend in his own mind?" It's a funny line in the film – not so funny in real life. We all know at least a "legend in his own mind" type of person. These are people who do not know who they are, in all levels – but they think they do. I have a client who sees himself as a kind, warm, caring, listening and, in particular, an expert in troubleshooting. I could not understand why it has a turnover of high-tech, software development, including the CEO. He was surprised to discover, after successful a process of evaluation and a 360 degree, others thought it was very controlling, a poor listening, someone who can not discuss a problem with telling you exactly how your resolve, and a leader. A difference between what he thought others thought of him and what he thought of himself. Change to be more to what he thought others vu? Yes and no. Do what he did was take the description of how others have seen and how he saw himself, as he shared with the group, and uses this knowledge to better understand the effect it has on people – and the effect it had on him. His comfort zone to employees has increased, as your comfort zone with him – and the differences in the perception of the facts has become a source of humor in their relationship. Your power is in place – time and effort to identify the three themselves. People respect that. Ignorance can be a blessing, but it can be fatal in business and personal relationships. And not have to be. Acquiring knowledge of who you are and how you're like other money in the bank – especially in leadership roles, as partners, equipment, partners, potential clients, managers and subordinates in the relationship is the heart and soul of success. So how can we go on this valuable information about themselves that can apply to their lives, their careers and their personal relationships? Here are seven steps to follow in the path to greater efficiency: Step 1 – What is most important. Do you have information you want. This sounds like a true non-head, but for many self-discovery is truly frightening – because they think they already know very well (in my experience, people who feel more positive about themselves and who benefit most from more information.) The other reason why people resist this process is the consequence which must change, and either unwilling not or do not feel the need. For some people, knowledge is not power – especially when applied to them. Step 2 — Get help from professionals and people you trust. Consider the group of his own brain in the group, dedicated to help you hear better. Sure to assist in their discovery process. People who have worked with you and to observe and interact with you in a variety of contexts. Step 3 – Look for people in the career field and ask them what they feel are the main needs in the behaviors, attitudes and skills to succeed in their field. Step 7 – Develop a plan for to build on the strengths and improve in the areas of behavior, motivation and personal skills. Now have information valuable, you can use every day to be more effective in relationships and your career. Keep your plan simple – and use the knowledge gained to assist in their personal growth.
